Dla Dziadka / For Grandpa

Witam serdecznie w piątkowy (u mnie pochmurny) dzień.
Dzisiaj prezentuję kartkę z okazji Dnia Dziadka.
Do kartki użyłam papieru Odważny debiut turkus 06.

Hello everyone. It's Friday evening. The weather is cloudy, at least behind my window.
Today, I want to show you Grandpa's Day card (in Poland we celebrate it on Jan 22).
The paper I used is Courageous Debut turquoise 06.

Papier lekko potuszowałam na brzegach czarnym tuszem Distress, aby nadać fajny kontrast między
papierem a bazą. Potuszowałam też delikatnie brzegi tekturki, aby były nieco przytłumione.
Papier ostemplowałam, pod tekturką też pocieniowałam - dzięki temu kartka wydaje się bardziej przestrzenna.
W ramkę tekturową wkleiłam grafikę z balonem. Musiałam dodać nieco białego gesso nałożonego przez maskę, parę chlapnięć czarnym Splashem i koniec. Kartka gotowa.

I put some black Distress ink at the edges of the paper to have a nice contrast between the paper and background. I also added some ink at the edges of the chipboard to make it look a bit dim. I stamped the paper and shaded a bit under the chipboard, so that the card would look 3-dimensional.

I put a balloon image inside a chipboard frame. I had to add a bit of white gesso using a stencil. Finally, a few black splashes and that's it. The card is ready.
